As a small business owner the last few months have been super stressful, thanks Covid-19!
I don’t think any of us saw that coming, and even if we did, I don’t think we could’ve expected anything like what we’ve had to endure over the last few months.
Retail has taken a huge hit, along with most other industries.
We have had massive issues with stock supply, freight, and a downturn in customer spending.
I know we’ve all heard about retail shops closing, redundancies, and businesses making some big changes to how they operate, and we are no different, we’ve had to reassess how we do business.
I don’t just want Sama + Kiki to survive, I want us to thrive.
And to do that, we’ve had to look at every aspect of our business, and how we can best set ourselves up for what the future of retail will look like.
We’ve made the HUGE decision to CLOSE our showroom.
We’ve noticed a downturn in how many customers are coming into the showroom, and a move towards buying online, which I totally understand.
This was a big decision for us – I love seeing you all come into the showroom, but the cost to have it outweighs the benefit in the current climate and the move to being 100% online seems like the right decision.
Closing the showroom, means I have the opportunity to keep my overheads low, and pass those savings onto my customers, which I know is really important especially over the next 6 months.
I know there are lots of you who like to try items before you buy, and I’m sorry that we will no longer be offering this service, however, we will extend our returns period from 7 days to 14 days to compensate.
And I’m only a message away, feel free to message me about sizing etc
Please remember, we do offer refunds on full price returns, so you can buy knowing you’re able to return your items for a refund.
Our rewards program will still remain in place,
for every $200 spent on full price purchases you’ll receive $10 credit.
Customer service and bringing you awesome plus size clothing is my top priority.
We will be refining our range, over the next few months, and adding a few new brands to our line up.
The last day the showroom will be open is Saturday 27th June.
So with all these lemons Covid-19 has so gratefully given us, we’ll make LEMONADE!
